P. Lelio Iapadre Presidente del Consorzio HPC4DR (High-Performance Computing for Disaster Resilience) con sede nell’Università dell’Aquila, dove è stato Professore di Economia applicata e Prorettore delegato per lo sviluppo sostenibile. È Associate Research Fellow dello United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration  Studies (UNU-CRIS) di Bruges e Adjunct Professor in Trade and International Finance a SciencesPo, Menton.

Fa parte del Gruppo di esperti della valutazione (GEV) interdisciplinare per la VQR 2020-2024 dell’Agenzia nazionale di valutazione del sistema universitario e della ricerca (ANVUR), del Centro Ricerche Economiche e Sociali Manlio Rossi-Doria dell’Università di Roma Tre ed è Consigliere scientifico del Centro Europa Ricerche (CER) di Roma.

Ha insegnato all’Università di Roma “Sapienza” e alla Johns Hopkins University, SAIS Bologna. Ha lavorato  come economista presso l’Istituto Nazionale del Commercio Estero (ICE) e come consigliere del Ministro del  Commercio Estero. È stato anche consulente per Istat, Svimez, il Bangladesh Institute for Development  Studies e diverse istituzioni internazionali, tra cui la Commissione Europea, l’OCSE, l’UNCTAD, l’UNIDO e il  World Bank Institute.

I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano diversi aspetti dell’integrazione economica internazionale, con  particolare riferimento al rapporto tra globalizzazione, innovazione e sviluppo locale.

 

P. Lelio Iapadre Chair of the HPC4DR (High-Performance Computing for Disaster Resilience) Consortium based at the University of L’Aquila, where he was Professor of Applied Economics and Prorector and Delegate for Sustainable Development. He is Associate Research Fellow at the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS) in Bruges and Adjunct Professor in Trade and International Finance, SciencesPo, Menton. 

He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Evaluation Expert Group (GEV) for the VQR 2020-2024 of the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR), a member of the Manlio Rossi-Doria Economic and Social Research Center of the University of Roma Tre, and a Scientific Advisor to the Centro Europa Ricerche (CER) in Rome.

He has taught at the University of Rome “Sapienza” and at the Johns Hopkins University, SAIS Bologna  Center.  He served as chief economist in the National Institute of Foreign Trade (ICE) and as an advisor to the Italian  Minister of Foreign Trade. He also acted as consultant for Istat, Svimez, the Bangladesh Institute for  Development Studies and several international institutions, including the European Commission, OECD,  UNCTAD, UNIDO, and the World Bank Institute.

His research interests concern several aspects of international economic integration, with particular  reference to the relationship between globalization, innovation and local development.
